TheChocolate5K offers Ghirardelli ® and Choc-Ola ® Goodies!

NR Road Racing presents a chocolatey good time. We are offering you sweet treats to keep you going throughout the 5k. Yes, there will still be water stations, but for those of you with a sweet tooth, you can also have a little piece of joy. Enjoy a family friendly three mile course with your friends, family, and other choc-aholics strangers. Doesn’t matter how fast or old you are; everyone is welcome to participate and join in the fun!

The Chocolate:

All chocolate is compliments of NR Road Racing. It is not mandatory for you take part, but you are more than welcome to have a sweet treat on us! There will be chocolate stations set up along the three mile course and of course, some more at the end!

We’ll supply the Ghirardelli® chocolates along the way.  For any of you with food allergies, please read the following “Allergy Information” from the Ghirardelli® people.  We’ve also found what may be a blast from the past for some of you…  Remember Choc-ola?  Well it’s back & we have it for you.

After the Race:

When you’re done running, we’ll be still partying and filling up with chocolate. You are invited to hangout and party to the music and have some more (or your first) chocolate on us! Family and friends are always encouraged to join in the party at the end!

Hi.. What can we expect in our “goodie” bags? Last year the t-shirt was not really that great looking could we get a shirt with the “wick dry material”, that most of our athletic wear is made up in nowadays? Thank you!

    • rsahm says:

We are looking at dry wick shirts but haven’t made the change yet. What event are you looking? As we will likely phase them in this spring.

Has this race in Grand Rapids, MI for this Sunday (5/24/15) been cancelled? I can’t find information for registration anymore.

    • rsahm says:

Hi Deborah. we did a 2014 run in GR but it didn’t receive much interest & we didn’t schedule a 2015 run in that area. Sorry!

  3. Lisa cash says:

Can you let me know of any 5 k/ walks you happen to do in ky please

    • rsahm says:

We have a couple in Louisville (June 20 & Dec 12) and we are trying to complete city approval for another in Lexington (maybe Aug). Is there a city you’d like us to come to? We would like to come back to Liberty in the fall (maybe). Danville KY charity that we worked with in 2014 opted to not do a run this year.

  4. Jay B says:

Was a great time and for a great cause. Glad to see everyone brave the cold this morning to make the run happen. Also want to thank the volunteers that came out and cheered us on, you all were awesome!!!

  5. melissa combs says:

Can we pick up our race packets on Race Day?

  6. AnnJ says:

When will the results be up?

  7. Chrissy says:

Was disappointed – we didn’t have water or chocolate stations along the run. I thought the point of the race was to have chocolate stops while running.

    • rsahm says:

From the maps we were given, we thought there were roads that still bisected the preserve area & would would be able to set the chocolate & water stations up. Not what we found when we traversed it ourselves Saturday… We apologize…

  8. Victoria says:

I’m running the chocolate 5k in Austin,tx . The site is not showing a packet pick up. I have not received an email either for where to pick up packet.pls send this info!

  9. Cindy says:

My dad and I are registered for this Saturday for the run in Manor, TX. I received an email to go to for runner information but I cannot access this link and need permission from google drive? How am I to get this information if I cannot get in? and when do we get packet pickup info? Just wondering since the 5K is in just a few days. Thanks
